Mr. Zentz began his solar career in December of 2009. Since then he has evaluated and proposed over 500 individual projects in the States of Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska, Minnesota, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, California, Oregon and Arizona. Over 70 of those projects have been constructed amounting to almost 40MW DC.
Richard has designed over thirty utility scale solar farms during this time, seven have been constructed, and six are scheduled for construction in 2017.
Richard has a Civil Engineering background for over 20 years. He worked for a private firm for over 12 years and then served two different Municipalities in their Engineering Departments. Richard managed projects ranging from $200,000 to $11,000,000 Capital Improvement Projects.
He has a great enthusiasm for solar generation and has acquired a level of experience that qualifies him as an expert in the solar community. He holds a NABCEP Certification.
